Player Behaviour​

Please remember that this is a social sports centre and our junior sports kids come here for a recreational, fun game of sport. We ask all people involved to ensure that all players and non-players behave in the appropriate manner when on and off court. This will ensure the highest level of enjoyment for everyone involved. Appropriate action will be taken if it is deemed that players or non-players are not particiaping fairly or in the right spirit. Please remember to:

 

• Participate according to your own needs

• Play by the rules

• Respect the decisions of officials

• Never argue with an umpire

• Be a good sport

• Treat everyone as you would like to be treated

• Co-operate with team-mates and umpires

• Respect the rights, dignity and worth of all

• Positive comments are motivational

• Support all efforts to remove verbal and physical abuse from sporting activities

You play at your own risk​

It is recommended to all players source their own personal health insurance cover that is sufficient for their needs.

Anyone who plays on our courts do so at their own risk.

 

First  Aid​ & Hygiene

All Supervisors and Managers employed by ICA Sportzworx Stepney are First Aid trained (HLTAID003).

Ice, first aid kits and general bandaging supplies are available to those who injure themselves whilst playing at ICA Sportzworx Stepney.

We are not permitted to assist children with sanitary issues, clothing etc.

 

ICA Sportzworx Stepney will provide first aid as required and Parent/Guardians will be contacted. If any hygienic issues occur, parents and/or guardians will be called to assist and/or pick up their child

Working with Children Check

All staff have a Working with Children Check from the Government of South Australia, Department of Human Services Screening Unit.

 

Privacy

All personal information provided to ICA Sportzworx Stepney is solely used for the purpose of team nominations, registrations for events, birthdays and functions.

 

From time to time ICA Sportzworx Stepney will email marketing material to customers. All customers have the option to opt out of receiving future emails.

Promotions and Coupon codes

Unless otherwise stated all promotions and coupon codes are only applicable to all new bookings and/or new teams nominating to join a season.

 

Birthday Parties

 

2 hour parties include

• 1.5 hours of your chosen indoor sport(s)

• 30 minutes in the courtside or in the kiosk for food & drinks

• Party invitations for your guests (hard copy or PDF)

• 1 x Junior Sport Coach

• Party pies, sausage rolls and frankfurts with sauce

• Freshly made Pizza

• Cordial and water

• Tables and tableware - plates, bowls, serviettes, cups & table cloths

• birthday child receives a party bag

Costs

Cost is $380 for 14 children to attend (includes the birthday child)

If over 14 children are attending it will be an additional $27 per child

Additional Junior Sport Coach @ $50 is required if over 18 children attend

3 hour parties include

• 2.5 hours of your chosen indoor sport(s)

• 30 minutes in the courtside, in the kiosk or the upstairs function room/bar for food & drinks

• Party invitations for your guests (hard copy or PDF)

• 2 x Junior Sport Coaches

• Party pies, sausage rolls and frankfurts with sauce

• Freshly made Pizza

• Cordial and water

• Tables and tableware - plates, bowls, serviettes, cups & table cloths

• birthday child receives a party bag

Costs

Cost is $505 for 20 kids to attend (includes the birthday child)

If over 14 children are attending it will be an additional $27 per child

Additional Junior Sport Coach @ $75 is required if over 30 kids attend

Other

• all Bookings require a minimum $100 deposit to confirm your party booking

• parties can be booked by:

  • direct instant booking via our Spawtz calendar where you can choose your own time. You will require a login. Once booked an your party deposit is paid, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to a birthday party form. This form needs to be completed, as it provides us with your birthday party requirements.

  • OR you can complete our online booking form with the set party times and your deposit payment is made via Paypal or Stripe (fees apply for both)

  • OR you can call and pay over the phone or in person

• party packs will be sent or emailed to you once your booking and deposit is confirmed

• parties have access to the venue 10 minutes before and 10 minutes after the booking time

• you need to provide your own birthday cake and/or sweets, lolly bags if you wish

• we can store your birthday cake in the fridge or freezer

• the kiosk is open and drinks are available for purchase both alcohol and non-alcoholic.

• No BYO drinks or alcohol for this function.

• there is also a coffee machine available to purchase from, we can provide tokens

• coffee/drinks and bar tabs can be arranged.

Supervision

• younger children who are not playing on the courts, must be supervised by their parent/guardian

• junior sport coaches are not responsible for supervision of the birthday party kids, they are providing the fun and activities

 

Please note that we do not offer any birthday parties without catering.

School Holiday Clinics

 

ICA Sportzworx Stepney provides:

• holiday clinic fun commencing at 9.30am and finishing 3.30pm

• 20-30 minute lunch break

• various drinks and snack breaks

• junior sport coaches and all game equipment

• lunch provided each day (gluten free available at no extra cost)

Individual Costs

• $55 for full day

• $35 for a morning session (9.30am to 12.30pm)

 

Group discounts:

• $100 for 2 kids or 1 kid for 2 days

• $144 for 3 kids or 1 kid for 3 days

• $184 for 4 kids or 1 kid for 4 days

• if more than 4 kids or more than 4 days the cost is $46.00 per child/per day.

• Price increases

  • $5 per child/per day effective 4 May 2016

  • $5 per child/per day effective 1 January 2019 

  • $3 and $5 per child/per day effective 20 December 2023 (Prices as above)

• Registrations are booked online and are an instant confirmation, paypal/payrix fees will apply.

 

Registrations

• Full payment must be made in advance at the time of your booking.

• Parent/Guardians are required to complete their registration form and provide contact details in case of an emergency.

• Registrations forms must be signed on arrival and signed when the kid(s) are picked up

• If you arrive earlier than 9.15am you can register but must not leave your kids(s) unattended until after 9.15am

• Pick up is at 3.30pm, no child will be allowed to leave unless signed out

 

Group Discounts

• All group bookings can be shared amongst family and friends, they are not exclusive to the one family

• The full payment is required at the time of booking by the person making the booking online

• Discounts will not apply without full payment in advance

 

Other

• All kids need to bring their own recess and water bottle and any other snacks they may want to have.

• Water bottles will not be refilled.

• Kids can purchase form our kiosk if permitted by their parent/guardian

• No money, no purchase

• Clinics are not held on weekends, Mondays or public holidays.

 

Supervision

• Supervisors and Junior sport coaches are responsible for the supervision of all kids from 9.15am to 3.30pm

 

Cancellations

• On the odd occasion that there are less than 8 kids registered to attend, the clinic will be cancelled and you will be advised by email or phone. Your full payment for that day will be refunded or you can use it for another day.

• Cancellation if less than 48 hours notice is provided, a $10 fee is charged per child regardless of the reason.

• COVID related cancellation if provided with less than 48 hours notice, will incur a $5 administration fee per child.

• There are no refunds for non-attendance, the full attendance fee will be charged for that day/number of kids.

• Cancellation fees are charged to cover catering, staff and administration costs.

OSHC  Excursions & Student Free Day Excursions

 

 

ICA Sportzworx Stepney provides:

• a 4 hour OSHC excursion

• 15-20 minute lunch break

• various drinks breaks

• 1 x Junior Sport Coach per 15 kids

• all game equipment

 

Costs

• $17 per child + GST (minimum of 16 kids)

• We can cater for up to 60 kids per excursion

• Lunch option available @ $9.00 per child and includes 1 hot dog and 1 pop top drink (gluten free sausage rolls available if ordered in advance)

• A $50 + GST deposit is payable when booking your OSHC excursions via the online booking form (paypal and/or Stripe fees will apply). 

• On the day that you attend a final invoice will be emailed to your school for the exact number of children that attended the OSHC excursion The invoice is payable within 14 days. 

• December OSHC's will require payment prior to attendance given school finance offices are closed.

Other

• kids if allowed to, may purchase items from our kiosk

• kid's own water bottles are permitted, but will not be refilled

• if a child has forgotten their water bottle, one can be purchased from the kiosk

 

Supervision

• your OSHC staff must be in attendance and are welcome to join in.

• our junior sport coaches are not responsible for supervision of the children, they are providing the fun and activities.

 

Cancellations

• If you need to cancel your booking, your deposit will not be refunded.

• A change of date is recommended and must be booked within 12 months.

School Excursions / PE / School  Sports

​

ICA Sportzworx Stepney provides:

• court hire for the duration of your booking

• coaches/umpires if requested

• all game equipment

 

Costs

• after completing an online query form, your school will receive a quote

• your school will receive an email to confirm your quote and booking details.

• On confirmation of your quote, a $50 (+ GST) deposit invoice will be emailed to your school. This must be paid to confirm your booking.

• on the day that you attend a final invoice will be emailed to your school for the exact number of children that attended

 

Other

• kids if allowed to, may purchase items from our kiosk

• kid's own water bottles are permitted, but will not be refilled

• if a kid has forgotten their water bottle, once can be purchased from the kiosk.

 

Supervision
